NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Kylie Jenner confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that she is "really sick," following a report earlier in the day that she had been hospitalized this week.

TMZ reported that Jenner "is suffering, and has been for several days, with an intense illness that required her to check into a hospital this week."

According to the website, Jenner, 22, experienced severe flu-like symptoms, which included nausea and dizziness. This forced her to ditch attending Sunday night's Emmys.

Aside from the awards show, Jenner said in a lengthy message posted to Twitter that she also is missing Paris Fashion Week.

"So as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier [Rousteing>,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help me be there in spirit.”
