Marla is a veteran journalist, who has spent her entire career in New York radio. She's covered some of the biggest and most challenging stories of the past quarter century, including 9/11, COVID-19, and the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting. Marla has earned multiple awards over the years from the Associated Press, the NY Press Club and the Alliance For Women in Media's prestigious Gracie Award for
journalistic excellence. Her passion is meeting the people who make New York the greatest city on earth and telling their stories. In her spare time Marla enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her greatest joys: her two sons and husband Peter.
