The driver called the police on the 36-year-old Clemonton man who threw the bottle near the La Cascata townhomes around 8:30 a.m. on Friday, according to officials.

Two Gloucester Township officers say they spotted the man walking on Blackwood Clementon Road.

When they ordered him to stop, he instead fled into a nearby Sunoco gas station convenience store and tried to get behind the counter, according to police.

The officers claim when they tried to arrest him, he started wrestling with them.

They charged the man with obstruction of justice and resisting arrest.

Both of the officers' injuries were treated on the scene.
