Two 18-year-olds and a 16-year-old were stabbed with an unknown weapon on First Street, which runs through the high school campus, police told NJ.com.

Hackensack Police Capt. Michael Anista said in a statement that the victims' injuries were not considered life-threatening and they were treated at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Anista said that officers were called about 2:30 p.m. after a report of a fight with weapons near the school. Officers dispersed a crowd upon their arrival but did not observe "signs of a fight or victims."

The hospital then called police to report that three teens were being treated in the emergency room for stab wounds they suffered near the school.

The captain said that the victims were not students of Hackensack High School and that this incident did not occur at the school.

No arrests had been made as of late Monday.

Anista said that more information will be made available when it becomes available and that the investigation is ongoing.
