TURNERSVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A New Jersey youth sports coach who allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations and inappropriate behavior with a child he coached now faces additional charges of sexual assault, authorities announced.

In 2020, 41-year-old Frank Natanni was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was indicted on that charge last year.

According to the 2020 allegations, Natanni, who was a neighbor of the victim and was the child’s coach, would “kiss, cuddle, and hug” the victim.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office also allege that Natanni “exchanged text messages with the victim that were sexual in nature.”

Last week, a Gloucester County grand jury added charges that include second-degree sexual assault and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, along with the original count of second-degree endangering-sexual conduct with a child.

The new charges include claims that Natanni touched the victim’s genitals during incidents that occurred in 2019 and 2020, according to court documents.

Natanni has a post-indictment arraignment scheduled for January.
