WHARTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A college football player from Wharton, New Jersey was charged with raping a woman at a Philadelphia house party, according to legal documents reviewed by NJ.com.
Daunte White, a 20-year-old linebacker for the Saint Francis University Red Flash, allegedly led an intoxicated woman to the basement of a home with another player on the team, 20-year-old Marcel Mami, and raped her in February 2022.
Prosecutors charged White with deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, unlawful restraint with serious bodily injury and conspiracy.
White was released on a $75,000 bail. He’s scheduled to return to court on Feb. 8.
