HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A Suffolk County woman is in a desperate search to find her epileptic dog Bandit, who was stolen from her front yard two weeks ago and needs medication.
Lisa Nguyen, of Huntington Station, let Bandit outside shortly before 10 p.m. on June 21—but the shih tzu–poodle mix never returned.
"Unfortunately, I let him out right before bed to go potty," Nguyen said. "It was routine. I had two other dogs come in, and he never made it back in."
Surveillance video shows a man stealing Bandit from Nguyen's yard on Beverly Road.
"You see the vehicle pull up," she said. "A man gets out and he picks Bandit up."

He fled with the dog in an older model vehicle, possibly a Mercury Grand Marquis, according to police.
Nguyen rescued Bandit from a shelter four years ago. He's a senior dog with epilepsy and requires five different medications, seven times a day.
Nguyen said it's been a difficult two weeks, but she hasn't given up hope that she'll get Bandit back.
"I don't care who this person is, I just want my dog back," she said. "Just please do the right thing. He needs medical attention."
Anyone with information about Bandit can submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or going to www.P3Tips.com.
