COMMACK, N.Y. (WCBS 880) -- A New York state prison guard was busted after he pretended to be a cop and solicited nude photos from at least one woman he pulled over on Long Island, police said Wednesday.

A “flashing light” was found mounted on the dashboard of David Olivari’s 2007 Toyota Prius when he was arrested Tuesday evening as he tried to meet up with one of two women he targeted last month, Suffolk County police said.
Authorities allege Olivari, a state corrections officer, is behind two incidents on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 in which women say they were victimized as they drove in the county.
In the first incident, a woman told police that a man pulled over her vehicle on the Long Island Expressway service road in Ronkonkoma at 3 a.m.
While claiming to be a police officer, the man took the woman’s cell phone and got her cell number before giving the phone back to her, according to police.
The man contacted the woman shortly thereafter and “requested that she send him nude photographs of herself,” police said.
A second woman made a “similar complaint,” telling cops she was driving on Shenandoah Boulevard in Nesconset just after 11:30 p.m. the following day when she was targeted.
An investigation led authorities to Commack on Tuesday evening, when police said Olivari attempted to meet up with one of his victims on Veterans Memorial Highway at 7:40 p.m.
Olivari pulled up in a Prius with a flashing light that’s believed to be the same vehicle used in the bogus traffic stop, police said.
Olivari, of Coram, was charged with criminal impersonation in the first degree, criminal impersonation in the second degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree, two counts of unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, and unauthorized use of a computer.
Police declined to comment when asked by Newsday if Tuesday’s meeting was a setup.
A spokeswoman for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office told the outlet that Olivari worked at the Washington Correctional Facility in Comstock.
Police said their investigation is ongoing. They’re asking anyone with information, or who believes they have been a victim, to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
