PATERSON, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- A COVID-19 vaccine clinic in New Jersey is offering a chance to meet some former NFL players in exchange for getting the shot.

On Saturday, NFL Alumni Health and St. Joseph’s Health are hosting a vaccination event Saturday at 11 Getty Ave. in Paterson, adjacent to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Those who show up can meet former Giants offensive lineman Roman Oben, former Giants center Shaun O’Hara and former Jets quarterback Ray Lucas.

Oben was on the Giants’ Super Bowl XXXVII-winning team, while O’Hara hoisted the Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl XLII.

“If you get on the internet, there’s 50 things that say get the vaccine and 150 things that say don’t get it. That’s why you don’t go by what you read on the internet, you go to your doctor,” said Lucas, who spent four seasons with the Jets.

The trio will sign autographs and pose for holiday photos. Also in store — a prize raffle, giveaways and a surprise visit from a special jolly guest with a white beard.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to all who are eligible over the age of 5.

Those under 18 years of age looking to receive a COVID-19 vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
