MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A 62-year-old Massapequa dentist pleaded not guilty to dozens of felony gun charges on Thursday after police raided his home and recovered 30 firearms.

Authorities said 20 of the 30 guns were illegal assault weapons, and 16 of those 20 were untraceable ghost guns with no serial number.
Nassau County police raided the home of Paul Carey, which doubles as his dental office, after a secretary reported he was armed and she feared for her life on Feb. 16.
He briefly barricaded himself inside his home when police confronted him, but he surrendered after his wife intervened, officials said.
Alongside the weapons, police confiscated seven silencers, 61 high-capacity magazines and about 3,000 rounds of ammunition.
Carey was a licensed pistol holder until December 2012, when his license was revoked for firing a gun in his backyard, according to authorities.
A state supreme court judge on Thursday ordered Carey held on $100,000 bond and signed an order of protection to keep him away from the former employee who called the police, Newsday reported.
He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted
