NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Long Island police officers are asking the public’s assistance with identifying a man who was found dead on the shoreline of Sag Harbor Cove on Monday.

Around 11:45 a.m., Southampton Town Police found the man dead on the coastline after a report, authorities said. He was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The man is about 40-50 years old with a long beard and was wearing a black shirt and black swim shoes.
