NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 19-year-old man died after four people were shot in Hempstead on Saturday night, according to police.
Police responded to reports of gunshots on Terrace Avenue near Jackson Street around 10:10 p.m., authorities said.
When officers arrived, they found four people had been shot.
Emergency responders rushed the 19-year-old to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
The other three victims, a 23-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, all suffered bullet wounds to their legs, according to officials.
The three surviving victims are recovering at local hospitals in stable condition.
Police have not yet made an arrest for the shooting.
