1 killed, 1 injured in Brooklyn restaurant shooting

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — One man was killed and another injured in a shooting inside a Brownsville restaurant on Thursday morning, according to police.

The shooting took place at Miguel's West Indian Restaurant on the corner of Strauss Street and Lott Avenue just before 9 a.m., officials said.

Eyon Johnson, 46, and a 45-year-old man were struck multiple times, police said.

Emergency responders rushed them both to Brookdale University Hospital, where Johnson was pronounced dead.

The other victim is in critical, but stable condition.

Two men wearing all black fled in a dark SUV after the shooting, authorities said.

Police have not yet made any arrests.
