1 killed, 2 injured in Bronx triple shooting: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating a triple shooting Sunday night in the Bronx that left one dead and two others injured, authorities said.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of multiple people shot in front of 1787 West Farms Rd., officials said.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old Jeremy Cancel with a gunshot wound to the torso.

Cancel was transported by EMS to Saint Barnabas Hospital where was pronounced dead.

A 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the buttocks were also transported by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

Police have made no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
