13-year-old boy hospitalized in East Harlem slashing, suspect at-large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 13-year-old boy was slashed in East Harlem on Tuesday, according to police.

The attack took place near the corner of East 117th Street and Second Avenue, officials said.

Law enforcement would not confirm what time the attack happened.

Emergency responders brought the child to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The boy is expected to survive.

Police have not yet made any arrests for the slashing, and an investigation is ongoing.
