PISCATAWAY, N.J. (WCBS 880) — At least two people were found dead early Tuesday morning inside a vehicle that was floating in a New Jersey pond.
Authorities said the vehicle was discovered around 5:30 a.m.
in the New Market Pond near Stelton Road and Lakeview Avenue in Piscataway.
Officials said two occupants of the car were removed and taken to nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Neither victim has been identified and the investigation remains ongoing.
Sources tell WNBC-TV that the victims were a woman and young child.
