The girls, both 17 years old, were at the Arcilla Playground, near Teller Avenue and 164th Street, in the Concourse Village section around 8:15 p.m. when gunshots rang out.

Police said two groups of males got into a dispute and one man pulled out a gun and opened fire.

One of the girls was struck in her leg and the other was grazed in her head by a bullet. The victims were unintended targets, police said.

Both teens were taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests had been reported as of Tuesday.

An investigation is ongoing, and it’s unclear if the shooting was gang-related, police said.
