
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Monday released images of two suspects sought in shooting of a 5-year-old girl in the Bronx on Friday, authorities said.
The shooting happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, June 30, in the vicinity of East 213 Street and White Plains Road in Olinville, officials said.
According to police, 25-year-old Austin Morrishow and 26-year-old Curtis White displayed firearms and discharged numerous rounds, striking a 5-year-old girl in the left side of her back.
The girl was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle when she was shot, cops said.
EMS transported the girl to Montefiore Medical Center and is in stable condition.
Both suspects fled southbound on foot.
