The Ford’s driver also suffered minor injuries and was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital.

Charges are pending against the driver, who was fleeing a traffic stop before the crash, WABC reported.

Police reportedly attempted to pull over the Ford because its license plates didn’t match its registration.
