2 people leaving Queens club shot: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man and woman leaving a nightclub in Queens were wounded when a gunman opened fire early Monday morning, police said.

The gunman in a white sedan started shooting as he drove by, wounding a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman standing in front of 127-10 Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park around 3 a.m.

The gunman fled the scene. Police said it wasn’t clear who the gunman was aiming for.

The woman was shot in the left arm and the man was shot in the forearm. Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital and are in stable condition.

Police are still in search of the suspect.
