2 sought after man bashed with metal pipe in Queens: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for two men who repeatedly bashed a 22-year-old man with a metal pipe in Queens on Sunday.

The brutal altercation occurred following an argument between the two suspects and the victim around 6:20 a.m. in front of 80-03 Roosevelt Ave. in Jackson Heights.

According to police, the victim was struck on the head and body.

Police released surveillance images on Wednesday of the suspects, who fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim sustained a laceration in the head and was removed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
