NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 13-year-old boy faces assault and other charges after two teens were shot near a Queens magnet school on Wednesday, police said.

The teen shooter opened fire just before 5 p.m. near Linden Boulevard and 207th Street, about a block away from the Health, Arts, Robotics, and Technology High School in Cambria Heights.

Emergency responders rushed the girl to Cohen Medical Center and the boy to Long Island Jewish Medical Center — both in stable condition.

Police said they recovered a gun at the scene of the crime and took the unidentified teen suspect into custody.

He was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

It’s not yet clear what led up to the shooting and whether the victims were the intended targets. An investigation is ongoing.
