
NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 3-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet while he sat inside a car in Newark on Wednesday afternoon, a city public safety director said.

Newark Public Safety Director Brian O'Hara said officers responded at 1:15 p.m. to a call of shots fired at the 200 block of Broadway.
Upon arrival, cops found the young victim who had been grazed on his thigh.
The boy was transported to University Hospital in stable condition, O'Hara said.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
