NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 3-year-old child has died after falling from a residential building in Brooklyn Monday afternoon, the NYPD said.
Police received an 911 call shortly before 3 p.m. and headed to 3301 Farragut Road in East Flatbush.
Once they arrived at the 4-story, pre-war building, first responders discovered the child with injuries consistent with a fall.
The child was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, also in East Flatbush, where they were pronounced deceased. Police did not identify the child's gender immediately, but WABC-TV reported that it was a boy.
