NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 6-month-old boy is in serious but stable condition after his mother allegedly dropped him from a second-floor balcony in Brooklyn early Thursday, police said.

Cops responded to the multi-family home on 51st Street in Mapleton around 4 a.m.
Police told 1010 WINS that responding officers spoke with the husband, who told them his wife woke him up and said she dropped the baby off the balcony.
It's unclear whether the fall was intentional.
The baby was transferred to the hospital for treatment, police said.
His 29-year-old mother went to Weill Cornell Medical Center for a psychological evaluation.
No arrests have been made at this time.
