The robbery occurred on the morning of Jan. 23 in front of a Shell Gas Station on Knapp Street where a white cargo van intentionally drove into an ATM machine breaking it open, police said.

The individuals made away with $6,366 dollars in cash, putting the money in the back of the van and fleeing northbound on Knapp Street, police said. No injuries were reported.

In the midst of the crime, police said one of the individuals dropped his phone and returned to the scene later to ask about a lost cell phone where surveillance footage captured images of him.
