NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A female body with a bag tied around the head was found in the Bronx on Thursday, police said.
Police officers responding to a 911 call around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday found an unconscious and unresponsive female of an unknown age at a building on Exterior Street, near East 144th Street, in Mott Haven, the NYPD said.
The person had a bag tied around her head, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine how the person died, the NYPD said. An investigation is ongoing.
