NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 15-year-old boy is facing murder charges following a now fatal stabbing of another teen in the Bronx earlier this month, officials announced Monday.

Police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed in front of 1041 Southern Boulevard in the Foxhurst neighborhood at around 3:30 p.m. on September 15.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered 17-year-old Ethan Borges stabbed in the chest and in the abdomen.

Borges was transported to Jacobi Hospital where he died on September 22, the NYPD said.

Police arrest an unidentified 15-year-old boy in connection to the stabbing.

He was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

An investigation remains ongoing.
