NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a teen in a beating at a Brooklyn fast food restaurant that left a 12-year-old boy hospitalized.

The NYPD released an image of a suspect Friday in the May 25 assault at Crown Fried Chicken on Linden Boulevard in East New York.

The boy and the teen got into an argument inside the eatery around 3:30 p.m., leading to the attack, police said.

The teen punched and kicked the boy multiple times in his face before fleeing.

The victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
