NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A Bronx man on Monday pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and other offences, including shooting a rival in front of a young girl in 2018.
According to federal prosecutors, Antonio Mora, 28, pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and firearms offenses in connection with his participation in two Bronx-based narcotics conspiracies.

Between December 2015 and November 2018, he was accused of participating in two separate conspiracies to distribute crack cocaine and heroin in the Bronx and elsewhere, according to officials.
Mora is also accused of participating in multiple shootings, including a September 2018 shooting in broad daylight.
In that incident, prosecutors said Mora pursued a rival drug dealer on a Bronx street while the man was walking with his daughter. When Mora caught up with them, he allegedly pulled the man’s daughter from his hands and shot him twice in the leg.
Earlier in that same month, he was accused of chasing down another rival dealer and shooting him in the abdomen.
“Antonio Mora was a prolific dealer of heroin and crack, and a violent enforcer for two different narcotics organizations. Mora participated in multiple shootings of rival drug dealers, including a brazen daytime shooting on a busy residential street where Mora shot a man twice in front of his young daughter,” said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams. “Now Mora awaits sentencing for his multiple acts of violence and drug trafficking.”
Mora could be sentenced to life in prison, according to the criminal charges.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 3, 2022.
