Michael D’Anna, 41, has been charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child and sexual abuse.

An assistant principal at P.S/I.S 30 Mary White Ovington claimed to have seen the interaction between Danna and the boy at around 8 a.m. as the official walked into the Bay Ridge school's science lab.

A tenured teacher who was hired in September 2009, D’Anna began working at P.S/I.S 30 in October 2013 and has now been reassigned to a Department of Education administrative office.

He has been ordered not to have any contact with students amid criminal and city investigations.

“The school immediately reported this deeply concerning allegation, and this individual has been removed from the school while we follow the necessary steps topursue termination," the DOE said in a statement. "The safety of our students is our top priority and we are cooperating fully with the police department to assist with the investigation.”
