VIDEO: Burglar who targeted Brooklyn synagogue twice sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released video footage of a burglar who they said targeted a Brooklyn synagogue twice this month, according to authorities.

The first incident happened at approximately 3 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, inside the Yeshiva Birchas Duvid Synagogue located at 671 East 7th St. in Kensington.

According to officials, the suspect entered through the back entrance and removed $70, and fled the location in an unknown direction.

Later that month on Saturday, March 19, at about 3:15 a.m., the suspect entered the same synagogue through the back entrance and removed two drills and batteries worth $999.00.

The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction, authorities said.
