NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Sunday released footage of a man accused of smashing an MTA conductor’s window with a hammer after a dispute aboard a Bronx subway train last month.

At approximately 8:20 a.m. on June 24, the suspect and the worker, 42, got into an argument on a southbound 5 train at the East 180th Street station.

When the train stopped at the East 138th Street-Grand Concourse station, the suspect got off the train and proceeded to strike the conductor’s window with a hammer, breaking the glass.

A piece of the glass window then struck the conductor in the face, causing a cut, the NYPD said.

The suspect—dressed in a yellow vest and t-shirt, gray pants and gray boots—fled the station in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for her injuries.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
