NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for sexually assaulting two women in New York subway stations.

The first attack took place on Oct. 26 around 8:22 p.m. in the East Bedford Park Boulevard and Grand Concourse subway station in the Bronx, officials said.

The suspect allegedly pressed his face into a 59-year-old woman’s buttocks as she climbed the stairs.

On Nov. 12 just before 10:30 a.m., the man approached a 45-year-old woman from behind as she refilled her MetroCard at the West 181st Street and Fort Washington Avenue subway station in Manhattan and rubbed his exposed penis on her back, according to police.

In both attacks the man fled before law enforcement arrived.

Police are asking anyone with information on the attacks to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Anonymous tips can also be submitted on the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
