
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two suspects who stole a man's jewelry while riding a moped on a Manhattan street last week, authorities said.
At approximately 6:10 p.m. on Friday, June 2, a 47-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk in front of 48 West 48th St. in Midtown, when he was approached from behind by two suspects on a moped, officials said.
According to police, the suspects snatched his gold chain from his neck, causing him to fall to the ground then fled on the moped westbound on 48th Street with the stolen jewelry.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his arm as a result of the incident.
