NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 16-year-old girl was fatally stabbed in the neck during a domestic dispute in Harlem on Sunday evening, police said as they searched for her boyfriend.
The NYPD released an image Monday of the man they’re after, Zyaire Crumbley, 18, in the death of Saniyah Lawrence.
Lawrence was stabbed to death inside a first-floor apartment on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, between W. 135th and W. 136th streets, around 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

Officers responding to a 911 call found her stabbed in the neck with a sharp object. She was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where she was pronounced dead.
She was killed during a domestic dispute with Crumbley, according to police, who didn’t elaborate on the nature of the dispute.
Denise Jackson, the heartbroken grandmother of Lawrence, told 1010 WINS she was “frozen” after losing her only grandchild.
“I came home from work and two detectives knocked at my door and asked me about Saniyah,” Jackson said.
“She’s gone, she didn’t even make 18,” she said. “She was a very beautiful, smart, intelligent, loving girl.”
Crumbley is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
