Cops searching for group that beat, robbed man outside Bronx liquor store

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for five men who jumped and robbed a 29-year-old man outside of a Bronx liquor store last week.

The group approached the man outside Allerton Liquor Store on Allerton Avenue near White Plains Road on May 25 around 10:25 p.m., officials said.

One of the men asked if he remembered him before the group started punching and kicking him all over his body, according to authorities.

The group reportedly stole his cellphone and wallet before fleeing on foot.

EMS brought the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
