Cops were called to P.S. 95 in Jamaica, Queens at 9 a.m. on Saturday with reports of a firearm discovered at the school, officials said.
Authorities arrived and safely removed the 9 mm gun and discovered the student said the firearm was placed in his backpack, police said.
An investigation revealed that the boy’s father, 36-year-old Renee Anam was the one who allegedly put the gun in the child’s bag, police said.
He was arrested and charged with acting in a manner to injure a child under 17 and harassment.
