VIDEO: Gunman shoots, wounds man outside Queens deli; 3 sought by police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage on Wednesday of a group of suspects including an armed man seen firing a gun that left a victim wounded in Queens over the weekend, authorities said.

Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, a 27-year-old man walked past three suspects in front of the 'Seagirt Deli and Grill' located at 17-39 Seagirt Blvd. in Jamaica when one engaged him in conversation, officials said.

According to police, the two men engaged in a verbal dispute, which escalated and the suspect displayed a firearm and fired one round, striking the victim in the upper left leg.

The three suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.

EMS transported the victim to Queens Hospital Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspects as follows:

Suspect #1: Male, dark complexion, thin build. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, black pants, a blue t-shirt, and a black fur hooded winter jacket.

Suspect #2: Male, last seen wearing a dark colored winter jacket and grey sweatpants.

Suspect #3: Male, last seen wearing a dark-colored winter jacket and grey sweatpants.
