VIDEO: Gunman who struck man, 20, on Bronx street sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage of a gunman who repeatedly fire his gun, striking a man in front of a Bronx building last month, authorities said.

Police said at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, the suspect discharged a handgun multiple times in front of 1475 Walton Avenue in Mt Eden and struck a 20-year-old man one time in his left arm.

The gunman fled on foot, authorities said.

The victim sought treatment and was a walk-in at BronxCare Health System and was in stable condition, the NYPD said.

Surveillance video released by police shows the suspect inside an elevator at 1454 Walton Ave. shortly before the incident.
