NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A knife-wielding woman stabbed an employee in the head at Juice Island on the Upper East Side on Wednesday night, police said.

The NYPD released images Thursday of the suspect, who they believe is between 20 and 30 years old.

The 39-year-old victim was working at the smoothie spot at Third Avenue and E. 61st Street around 8:30 p.m. when he and the woman got into some sort of dispute.

During the argument, she grabbed a knife off the counter and stabbed him in the head, neck, back and hands, police said.

She was last seen fleeing eastbound on E. 61st Street, according to police.

The victim was rushed to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition Thursday.
