NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a knife-wielding suspect who followed a man into a Brooklyn building in a violent robbery early Tuesday, authorities said.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., the suspect followed a 66-year-old man into a residential building located in the vicinity of Humboldt Street and Seigel Street in Williamsburg, officials said.
The suspect displayed a knife, punched the victim in the face and forcibly stole his wallet, the NYPD said.

The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County for treatment.
