TRENTON, N.J (1010 WINS) -- A landlord found a decomposed inside a garbage bag at a home in New Jersey last week, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office said.
According to officials, on Friday, the landlord was cleaning the property located on Beatty Street in Trenton, when he made the discovery and informed authorities about the remains.
Authorities are investigating the the person’s identity and circumstances of their death.
Officials are awaiting the results of an autopsy, the prosecutor’s office said Tuesday.
