NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man attacked an adult store clerk and police with a baseball bat after he was confronted for trying to steal lingerie in Brooklyn on Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

The man was stealing lingerie from Video City, a 24-hour adult novelty shop on Third Avenue near 36th Street in Sunset Park, around 9:30 a.m., officials said.
When the clerk stepped in to try and stop him, the thief reportedly attacked with a baseball bat.
Police said he also beat them back with the bat, leaving officers with some minor injuries before escaping.
He still hadn’t been arrested as of Sunday afternoon.
