NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating after a woman was killed by a livery driver in Brooklyn, Sunday night, authorities said.
Just before 10 p.m., the livery driver was traveling north on Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge when his Toyota SUV struck the 61-year-old victim near Senator Street, officials said.
The victim was rushed to Lutheran Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
