Man, 19, robbed of chain at knifepoint on Brooklyn subway

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for a thief who robbed a man of his chain at knifepoint on a Brooklyn subway last month.

The brazen robbery happened around 12:50 p.m. on April 27 aboard a northbound D train near the 62nd Street/New Utrecht Avenue station.

Cops said the suspect demanded the 19-year-old victim's chain, displayed a knife and then forcibly removed the chain from the victim's neck. He also allegedly threatened the victim if he left the train.

Police said the suspect then fled off the subway car and remains at large.

The 19-year-old did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the incident.
