Man, 26, fatally shot in head in Harlem, suspect at-large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in Harlem on Tuesday, according to police.

The shooter opened fire around 4:19 p.m. near the intersection of East 123 Street and Lexington Avenue two blocks away from Marcus Garvey Park, officials said.

EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities are withholding the man’s identity pending notification of his family.

Police have not yet made any arrests, and an investigation into the attack is ongoing.
