
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was fatally shot in the chest in Queens Saturday morning, and police are now on the hunt for a suspect.

On Saturday just before 8 a.m., police responded to a 911 call for a male shot at 23-23 98th Street in East Elmhurst, not far from LaGuardia Airport.
When cops arrived at an apartment, they found an unresponsive 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest, authorities said.
EMS arrived on the scene and brought the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead, police confirmed.
An investigation is going, police said, and no arrests have been made.
The victim’s ID was withheld pending family notification.
Police said the suspect is a 5’8” Hispanic man who wore all-black clothing, including a hoodie with the word “World” written on it, and a ski mask, according to Citizen.
According to the Daily News, a woman who was found in the apartment covered in blood was taken in for questioning.
