NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials released video footage of a group of men who fled in a vehicle following sought in a violent robbery in Upper Manhattan on Wednesday, authorities said.
Just before 5 a.m., a 28-year old man was walking in the vicinity of Fairview Avenue and Wadsworth Terrace in Fort George, when he was approached by three men, police said.

One of the suspects displayed a firearm then began to punch the victim in the head and body, causing bleeding, according to the NYPD.
The three suspects then stole the victim's wallet and cellphone and fled the location in a black sedan, officials said.

EMS transported the victim to Allen-Pavilion Hospital in stable condition.
The property taken had an estimated value of $2,000, the NYPD said.
The suspects being sought are described as males, 20-30 years in age.
