NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 38-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest in Brooklyn on Sunday, according to authorities.
At about around 7:10 p.m., officers responded to East 51st Street near Linden Boulevard in East Flatbush where they discovered Peter George, with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
George was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and officials are searching for the suspected shooter.
An investigation remains ongoing.
